Swelling / edema

Postby Mrxxxx » July 4th, 2015, 10:41 am

Hi all, I know this subject has been covered quite a bit but I'd like to get some opinions if that's ok.

I have attached three photos. The ring you see has an ID of 34mm and I have been wearing it constantly for about 26hours. As you can see, the scrotum has swelled slightly making it feel tight. The temperature is ok and there doesn't seem to be any issues concerning veins.

The photo without the weight was taken just after removal.

Should I remove the ring for a few hours or would you keep it on?

Thanks all...

Sorry, I got side tracked yesterday.
You are experiencing what is normal for me. Having only one testicule, my bottom ring must be quite snug to ride as close to the top of my teste as possible to avoid compression and possible slippage. The edema actually helps me carry the weight giving my teste some relief.
As long as color, temperature and veins are normal with no feeling of fatigue in your hang you are good to go.
This mild edema is fluid build up between the sack skin and the testicule caused by the partial restriction of the fluids return to your body. This is an open system with no blood vessels involved. It's just fluid pressure finding a new balance for your sack skin to push it back into the body. Fatigue is an early warning signal that the pressure has risen to the point that it is interfering with blood flow and that is when it is time to remove or switch to a larger ring.

Thanks for the info tubdraman.

Could you please define fatigue in this sense? Is it when the weight feels heavier than usual, causing an aching sensation?

Thanks again

This fatigue is below the ring and is kind of a slight tired ache or a slight numbness. Like when sitting too long with your legs crossed and your feet go to sleep from poor blood flow.
Excessive weight issues are usually felt as a strain ache along the full length of a creamasters - usually at the abdominal attachment to the teste. But may be localized to just a part of the creamaster.

Hey, I have a question that I believe is related to swelling...

I just recently upgraded to a higher weight class (from a 15mm tall weight to a 30mm tall weight) and after my first 12 hours of wear, upon taking the weight off I noticed that the center "seam" of my ballsack was really puffy! (see attached pic)

Is this normal, or cause for concern?

Because you are growing new sack skin, your skin will look different when you are contracted. All that skin has to bunch up when the dartos muscles in the skin contract and thus the structures on the skin will be larger and the skin thicker.
