Hy everyone,
thanks for the load of informations about ball stretching in this forum!
I'm scheduled for a vasectomy on the 04.12.
My questions are:
Does anybody have an idea, how long the break should be for ball stretching after the surgery?
And should I stop a certain amount of time before?
greetz
Jürgen

Re: Vasectomy ahead
Hi Jurgen,
I can offer some insight. I had a vasectomy about 6 years ago, but I have only been actively stretching with metal weights for 2 years. Prior to that I did a lot of manual stretching. I can say that I had a positive experience with my Vasectomy. the operation itself was very straightforward and over very quickly. The recovery was as expected. I took the best part of a week off work and took it VERY easy. I was sore and bruised as expected but after 1 week or so I had very little remaining effects. I would say that I would leave it at least 2 weeks before you resumed stretching, but in honesty 1 month would probably be wise. In terms of how soon before the operation you need to stop, I would have thought a day or so would be enough.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
LB.

Re: Vasectomy ahead
Hi guys,
sorry that it took so much time for my response.
I had to postpone the vasectomy in cause of another much more important surgery.
But know I had it last week.(correct English?)
Overall it was no big deal, although I felt really uncomfortable as my urologist did it at the right side.
It turned out that I have a lot of blood vessels there, and it was pretty painful as he worked there.
Many blood vessels comes always with many nerves.
I had a really uncomfortable pulling pain up into my stomache as they were atrophying the blood vessels.
At the left side I felt literally nothing.
The next 2 hours I had very uncomfortable stomache pain, but after that it was ok.
Meanwhile all of the pain is nearly gone.
Nevertheless I will wait a minimum of 4 weeks to start stretching again.
I will report about it!
Best regards

Re: Vasectomy ahead
Fortunately I had my vasectomy years ago so way before I started stretching, although I had to have a general anaesthetic & a 45 minute operation to remove my firing pin !
