I saw a guy riding a bike stopped at a light yesterday and cringed. He had to stand on one leg with the other draped over the bar as the top bar was way too high for him. A real recipe for disaster for the testicules. If you can't stand flat footed astride the bike you need a shorter bike. Things happen that will turn your bike into a weapon. I lost one testicule to the bike top bar when a pedal crank end broke off and my left testicule hammered the top bar. Swelled up to a grapefruit size then down to pea sized and that ascended into my body cavity.
Almost everyone starts up from a stop or when climbing a steep grade is standing on both pedals and not sitting on the seat.
